SRC GOLF OUTING AND 19TH HOLE SOCIAL: Our golf scramble is set for August 21 and will be held at Winding Creek Golf Course. Following the golf outing, whether you have golfed or not, you are invited to a hamburger cook out and pot luck at the Winding Creek Pavilion. Golf will start around 3:00 p.m. and we will eat around 6:00 p.m. Sign up sheets are in the Gathering Place. We ask that if you are "only" coming to eat that you sign up so we know how many burgers to buy! Cost will be $5 per family and we ask that you bring a dish to pass. Come on out! Enjoy music, a 50/50 raffle, and lots of good food and good conversation with friends! Please sign up by August 8.

THREADBENDERS AND STORYTENDERS: Our next meeting will be on August 4 at 3:00 p.m.

FAMILY FUN: On Monday, August 23rd from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m., come to the Ottemans’ Pool for a Family Swim. Bring a dish to pass or snack to share, swimsuits and towels. Sign up in the Gathering Place. See you there! Meredith VanderHill

DISHCLOTHS FOR SALE: Threadbenders are selling dishcloths at $3 each. All proceeds go to the church kitchen. Stop by and pick some up, they are available in the Gathering Place.

Community News

PARKVIEW GARAGE SALE FUNDRAISER: August 19 and 20, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and August 21 from 9 a.m. to noon. So clean out those closets and drop off some of the items that you no longer use in your home. We will take anything that is in good shape. Please bring items to Parkview by Thursday, August 19. All money raised will go towards the operation of Parkview.
